She is Assistant Professor at the Political Science Department of the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona. She is currently finishing her PhD thesis about the impact of Internet on political participation. Her main research focus is on political behavior, political communication and the effects of new technologies. She has also done extensive research and published on electronic voting. She has been a visiting researcher at the Centre d Étude de la Vie Politique Française in Paris and has attended summer courses at the University of Essex and the University of Michigan.
